Getting ready to head to SNP today and was reminded of my personal favorite nature photo and thought I would share.

I'm pretty sure if the tent flap had been open, he would have walked right in. This was one of two large buck that stayed in "our" camp site all weekend.

Worth the hike

On location in Shenandoah National Park.

We hiked about a mile down stream to find just the right location for this set of portraits. It was definitely worth it.
